If you're interested in Sherlock Holmes adaptations, you might like the BBC radio versions starring Clive Merrison. It's the only series to dramatise every one of the stories, and they walk an interesting line between being very faithful to the originals but on the other hand taking opportunities to smooth over glaring inconsistencies when they arise.
