Thanks! I have no tea, but I do indeed have chocolate (I'm terrible with eating all the chocolate lately, I blame the Thing), and when I came home from the Thing I watched James Maxwell and Julian Glover burying girls in the back garden, which obv. made things seem better.

No tea, though, but you can have all of that for me.

I know, i'm not a proper British person, but I don't like tea! I watch other people drink it vicariously for me in old TV.

Well, I finished that Thurs. In the meantime I am mostly watching Tenko which I recorded off Drama earlier in the year. It is very enjoyable, but everybody keeps dying. I am v worried that we have a couple more series to go because nobody can survive that long!

I can imagine! The death count is pretty impressive, really. I'm nearly at the end and they're out of the camp now, but things are still terrible. It is good, though.

Anyway, I recorded it off Drama - they ran it on Sat mornings earlier this year, so it might come round again. (They're doing Secret Army at the moment, which I'm also recording, but it must be very long as it's still going after a couple of months of 4-ep Sat am stints!)

Oh, I think modern TV can do grim and gritty if it's something like WWII; it's just that they thought tackling the end of the world properly was a bit of downer for SF, because obv all sf is just escapism. /still bitter
