100fandoms. Because I have a lot of fandoms anyway, right? If I wrote one more for all my listed AO3 fandoms I'd be almost there already! I can do this! (:lol:)

I always think, with these things, that if I'm encouraged to write one thing I might not have done otherwise, it's done its job and anything more is a bonus.

But when I think about all the challenges of any kind I've signed up for almost all of them are things that I made at least one thing for that I'm pleased with, so I decided at some point, it was better to think that way!

I started taking a calligraphy class last week, and before we started putting pen to paper, the teacher said something to the effect of, don't worry about what it looks like; remember that everyone started with producing ugly writing before they produced beautiful writing. I don't remember exactly how she phrased it, but it was exactly what I needed to hear. It helped me focus on what she was trying to teach rather than on trying to produce something I wasn't embarrassed for the other students to see.
