The Royal Exchange Theatre is AMAZING.

I mean to get well enough to go one day. I watched the BBC's 1972 Shadow of the Tower and got v intrigued by James Maxwell, who was one of the founding artistic directors and I was intrigued by him, the theatre, and puzzled as to why he was supposed to haunt it. (He died at 66, sadly). Trying to find out more has been really interesting and also made me v keen on everything I know about the Royal Exchange, even if I have never been there. And the ghost story seems to genuinely be that the Company didn't want him not to be there, which is a very odd but sweet tribute to a person! He must have been all right. :-)

*hugs back* I am okay today! But, yeah. It's not nice.
