Beyond the Roundels

Sometimes I am sad bored enough to search the net on my username (vvj5 - it seems to be something it computer language as well.).  Sometimes I am lucky enough to find some kind person has given one of my stories a nice review.

I was impressed to find that my Ten meets Three story (Home?) had been recced in German.  I mean, I couldn't read German fanfic and German fans read English fan fic for pleasure?  It also amused me no end by the fact that every translater I put the text through came out with something different.  The jist seems to have been that the reccer enjoys reading fanfic, but there are few pearls in a big ocean, that Home? s/he liked, the characters were credible (or possibly reliable) and s/he liked the interaction between Jo and Ten.  And while I'm grateful to the net translation sites (otherwise it could have been a thread for hated fanfic for all I knew), they only seemed to get more unlikely with each attempt.

Now, about time to spread the happiness and rec some stories myself.
